Sunday School – Forming children in Orthodox faith and worship
Sunday School – Growing in Christ Together
Our Mission
Sunday School is one of the most vital ministries of the Church. Guided by our patron saint, St. Macrina the Younger, we help each child discover the Orthodox faith, memorize the story of salvation, and grow up loving the worship life of the Church.
Why Sunday School Matters
We lay a foundation of Scripture, doctrine, and Orthodox tradition so that every child knows the story of salvation and their place within it. Along the way they meet the saints who inspire courageous faith, form friendships rooted in Christ, and learn habits of prayer that continue at home with their families.
What Students Experience
Dedicated teachers walk with each grade level—from kindergarten through 12th grade—using lessons, crafts, and discussions tailored to the needs of every age. Students participate in feast-day celebrations, charity projects, and retreats, and many find opportunities to serve at the altar, sing in the choir, and support parish events as their gifts grow.
Join Our Classes
Classes meet every Sunday immediately after Holy Qurbana during the school year, and new families are welcome at any time. Reach out if you have questions, would like to visit a class, or hope to volunteer.
